How does Vidify know what special day it is today?

We combine three sources — a curated worldwide occasions database, the Calendarific API for country-specific public holidays, and the Aladhan API for accurate Islamic dates calculated astronomically.

Are wish messages different for every person?

Yes. Messages are personalized by occasion and selected gender, with five variations each so you can cycle through them until you find one that sounds like you.

Can I share these on WhatsApp?

Absolutely. Tap Copy and paste anywhere, or use Download to save the wish as an image to share on stories or chat.

How are Islamic dates detected accurately?

We use the Aladhan API which converts Gregorian dates to Hijri based on astronomical calculation — the standard used worldwide. Note: actual moon sighting may differ by ±1 day locally.

Does Vidify store my location or personal data?

No. We only read your country code in the browser to localize content. Nothing is stored on our servers. Your gender preference and optional country choice are saved locally in your own browser only.

Is Vidify free to use?

Yes, Vidify is completely free. No sign-up, no subscription, no hidden fees.

My country's holiday is missing. What should I do?
